Renata Coleman is an independent brand management consultant and the founder of RJ Coleman Consulting, a brand management consultancy that specializes in staffing accomplished marketing consultants.
Renata and her associates are experienced in all aspects of building, sustaining and growing brands including brand strategy, advertising and communication, new product development, retail strategy, consumer insights and marketing execution. She and her team have cultivated business for global, domestic, B2C, B2B, non-profit and for-profit brands across a range of categories including OTC pharma, animal health, beauty, baby, food, automotive, education, and financial services.
Prior to launching RJ Coleman Consulting, Renata was a senior brand manager in Johnson & Johnson’s Consumer Group of Companies. While at J&J Renata managed several large domestic and global brands, leading award-winning communication and significant new product launches. Her work leading a hyper-targeted digital and print advertising campaign on TYLENOL® became a Johnson & Johnson case study as the model for hyper-targeting. Her insight-driven new product launch and communication for PEPCID® and her communication plan drove significant sales growth for the business. Across her career she has had extensive experience building new product pipelines and launching new products into market.
Renata began her career with Deloitte & Touche as a CPA in their business and advisory assurance services division, advising clients of risks associated with their business and identifying areas of potential business process improvement.
Originally from New York City, Renata earned both a Bachelors Degree in Marketing & Accounting and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
